The timing of the contracts has drawn scrutiny, especially as Reuters earned a Pulitzer Prize for its reporting on “misconduct” at Musk’s businesses during this period.

Corruption and money laundering are a huge part of the global economy. The real Rich are propped up by tax revenues from regular people. Government, entertainment, media of all types are basically parasites feeding off people who produce things. It’s a vast circular ecosystem. As George Carlin said: “It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.”

These investigations certainly smack of the chronic Biden practice best described as, "show me the man and I will show you the crime." The timing alone is suspicious.
On the other hand, it is not a healthy situation for the country's richest man who is doing a lot of business with the feds to have so much influence without structural accountability. I have no doubt of the good faith and honorable intentions of Elon Musk but I don't like the precedent.

Tesla will be given to Ford;
SpaceX given to NASA;
Starlink given to CBS.
The rest of Musk’s companies will be sold or auctioned off. Musk will get 30 to life. If he’s lucky, he’ll be in the same cell block as Trump.
