U.S. crypto ETFs delivered a powerful week of inflows for the week ending Sept. 25, led by $2.39 billion entering bitcoin funds. Ether funds attracted $689.88 million, while solana, XRP, zcash and HYPE ETFs all finished the week with net gains.

Key Takeaways

  • Bitcoin ETFs drew $2.39B from Sept. 21-25, their strongest week since Oct. 2025.
  • Blackrock led as ether, solana, XRP, zcash, and HYPE also gained, broadening crypto demand.
  • This week, markets will test whether ETF buying holds if bitcoin consolidates and macro pressure returns.

Blackrock, Fidelity Drive $1.86B Into Bitcoin ETFs in One Week

The remarkable part of last week’s bitcoin ETF rally was its persistence.

Capital entered the funds every trading day, even as bitcoin’s price retreated from around $87,000 later in the week. Investors added exposure through the pullback, turning five consecutive sessions into the strongest weekly bitcoin ETF inflow since October 2025.

Monday set the pace with $998.95 million, the largest single-day bitcoin ETF inflow of 2026 and the ninth-largest on record. On Tuesday, investors added $714.75 million. The pace cooled after that without breaking. Wednesday brought $346.98 million, Thursday added $190.65 million, and Friday finished with another $134.47 million pumped into bitcoin funds.

Blackrock’s IBIT dominated the weekly tally with $1.16 billion, while Fidelity’s FBTC attracted $701.6 million, Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB added $294.7 million, and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT drew $203.3 million. Only Wisdomtree’s BTCW finished negative, losing $4 million.

Bitcoin Flows Move Back Into Positive Territory

The $2.39 billion haul marked a dramatic acceleration from the previous week, when bitcoin ETF flows were essentially flat.

It also helped push 2026 year-to-date flows back into positive territory. Bloomberg data showed that roughly $4.6 billion had entered U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs since Aug. 19, when the Treasury signaled an expansion of long-dated bond buybacks.

Bitcoin itself traded above $87,000 early in the week before giving back some gains, yet ETF subscriptions kept coming.

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart described the products’ performance since their 2024 launch as an “absolutely smashing success.”

“They knocked any of our predictions out of the water,” Seyffart said.

He also noted that the average ETF investor’s estimated cost basis sits around $82,000. Moving above that region returned many holders to profit, while flow and regulatory-filing data suggest longer-term allocators have generally continued building positions.

Ether Rebounds While Solana Punches Above Its Weight

Ether ETFs also had a clean week, recording $689.88 million in net inflows.

The funds attracted $269.98 million last Monday, followed by $162.31 million on Tuesday, $104.63 million on Wednesday, $66.01 million on Thursday, and $86.95 million on Friday. That five-day run restored momentum after ether ETFs lost $140 million the previous week.

Solana delivered an even more striking result relative to its size.

SOL ETFs attracted $188.22 million during the week, including $86.67 million on Friday. With net assets ending around $1.96 billion, weekly inflows represented almost 10% of the category’s asset base. That made solana one of the clearest beneficiaries of capital moving beyond bitcoin and ether.

XRP, Zcash and HYPE Broaden the Crypto Bid

XRP ETFs collected $75.59 million for the week. The funds saw fresh demand from Tuesday through Friday, capped by a $22.65 million Friday inflow.

Zcash (ZEC) ETFs attracted $35.17 million, driven largely by Tuesday’s $32.81 million inflow, while HYPE ETFs finished with $9.25 million despite a $1.58 million withdrawal on Wednesday.

The breadth matters.

Strong U.S. growth, elevated Treasury yields and changing inflation expectations created plenty of volatility for crypto prices. However, ETF investors continued allocating.

That leaves institutional flows looking increasingly like a slower-moving source of demand. The coming sessions will show whether that support can persist if macro pressure returns and bitcoin consolidates after its September rebound.
