A black woman claimed she was kicked off her first class fight after a white passenger accused her of being racist.
The passenger named Erica explained in a series of TikTok videos posted on December 29 that she and her partner were booted off their American Airlines flight.
The couple had boarded their flight from Chicago to Austin, Texas, which had already been delayed for three hours, and sat down in their first class seats when the altercation began.
'When I got on the flight, I put my backpack under my front seat, and the flight attendant asked me to move my backpack,' Erica said.
'I said, "That's fine. I can put it above me if there's any more space up there."
Erica said she tried to adjust the bags in the overhead compartment when the white man sitting next to her yelled, 'Do not touch my bag. Do not touch my stuff.'
'I said, "Okay. I'm sorry. My bad." I could put my bag somewhere else, even though this is right above my seat,' she said.
The flight attendant offered to help Erica put her bag in another compartment, but she was concerned about her bag, which contained some of her valuable items like her laptop and iPad, being too far from her.

Erica said the man (pictured) claimed he 'felt threatened' after she told the flight attendant she wanted to keep her bag near her
'I don’t know anyone on here, and I have [my] MacBook, iPads in my backpack,' she said. 'First class, I paid over a $1,000 for these tickets.'
After the flight attended walked away, Erica claimed the same man started whispering to his wife then shouted, 'I’m threatened. I feel threatened.'
'He yelled at the people that worked on plane and told them that he felt threatened and that he felt uncomfortable because I did not want my bag to be right above him,' she said.
'He said that it was a "race thing," and that he felt threatened because he is white and I'm black and that I mentioned something racist towards him, although I never spoke to him or even said anything out loud other than that I didn't want my bag to be next to people I didn't know because I have products in them.'
Erica said after the man spoke up, she and her partner were escorted off the flight and told 'it's a race thing.'
'The flight attendant said verbatim, "This is a race thing,"' she said. 'What’s the race problem? Clarify to me because I don’t understand.'
She said the flight attendant pushed her while escorting them off the plane and when she asked to get Chicago police involved they told her that wasn't necessary.
In another clip Erica posted, she captured a crew member touching her partner as they were being walked off the plane while another employee smiles and waves them off as she records.

Additionally, another video shows a worker explaining the crew jointly decided to remove them from the flight.
She also recorded the man who accused her of being racist as he ignores her and puts his hand up to block her recording.
