Black Ops 6 players have hit out at the removal of additional COD Points in the battle pass, especially as it has become an ‘ignored’ issue.

Over the last few years, Call of Duty has followed the likes of Fortnite in making microtransactions like new skins and battle passes a really big part of the game. It’s become a live-service title with an additional focus on Warzone and multiplayer seasons.

This has been a constant sticking point in the community, especially when it comes to the devs seemingly prioritizing new skins and content over fixing bugs, combatting cheaters, and addressing server issues.

With Black Ops Season 3 just around the corner, another complaint with the battle pass has reared its head – the removal of COD points – as it has become a bit ignored by the community.

COD players want more COD Points in battle pass

“The removal of additional COD points in the Battle Pass this year is not talked about enough,” Redditor MuscledRMH complained

“The fact they removed the additional COD points from the Battle Pass this year really sucks. Not only makes it harder to earn back the COD points, it also gives no room to earn a bit extra to build a buffer when you can’t finish the pass.”

Others quickly agreed. “So many things about this year’s CoD are frustrating. Yes. This is another one,” one said. “I’ve been grinding my battle pass in 10 days, 0-100. It was one of the first things I noticed, was that I had to basically finish the entire thing just to get next season’s too,” another added.

Some fans also suggested that COD “realized what Fortnite was doing with there’s and wanted to be different.”

Others have said they’ll be “skipping” the Season 3 battle pass as a result, hoping that the COD devs will make a change come Season 4.

The next season of Black Ops 6 will, no doubt, be popular because of Verdansk’s return in Warzone. The pay-to-win Roze skin is also back, and none of the issues have been addressed.
