The St. Patrick’s Day event is live in Black Ops 6 and Warzone but players are disappointed with the rewards and how quickly they’re finishing it, slamming it as the “laziest” event they’ve done so far.

Events have become a core part of Call of Duty, as it feels like there’s always at least one running at any given time. These can range from seasonal celebrations like the Festival Frenzie Christmas event to high-profile crossovers like Squid Game, TMNT, and The Terminator.

Now, the Clover Craze event has arrived as part of St. Patrick’s Day, bringing plenty of Irish-themed Weapon Charms, Calling Cards, and Blueprints. However, after the event kicked off on March 13, players were quick to call it out.

The biggest gripe was just how quickly they were able to collect all of the clovers and claim all of the rewards. Reddit user ‘LegendaryAim1610‘ explained that they earned 215 out of the 1,800 required by reaching round 10 in Zombies, but only takes a few minutes to do.

“The Clover Craze might be the laziest, worst event ever,” they said in their post, before adding: “Should have just given us a quadruple experience weekend or something for St. Paddy’s day rather than this s**t.”

They weren’t alone, either. Another player earned all of the clovers and claimed all seven cosmetics, including the AMES 85 Blueprint, after just one match on Liberty Falls.

In the past, the devs have limited the number of drops that can be collected in a single match, especially in Zombies where you’re gunning down hundreds if not thousands of enemies. This time, though, it appears that there is no cap.

The event being easy to complete isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but fans were also frustrated with the quality of the rewards on offer, calling them “filler.”

“The events are trash. Every single one of them. No point in paying attention to them,” added another angry player.

With the Season 3 update delayed until April 3, many were hoping that Clover Craze would at least give them something to tide them over. But with most players already blasting through the event, the wait for Verdansk is only going to feel longer.
