Black Ops 7 and Warzone hold race to earn camo only 100,000 players can unlock

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 5 bring a race to earn a unique camo that’s only available to the first 100,000 players to complete the challenge.

As a pre-order bonus for Modern Warfare 4, you’ll get the Gilded Pearl Camo Pack to use in Black Ops 7 and Warzone. This unlocks the Moonlit Pearl camo straight away, along with a challenge to unlock the Gilded Ruin camo.

Only the first 100,000 players to complete the challenge will unlock the Serialized Gilded Ruin camo. This camo will feature their unique serialization number, which depends on how quickly they unlock it.

The quicker you complete the challenge, the lower the number. For example, if you’re the first to unlock Gilded Ruin, your camo will say “No: 000001 of 100,000.”

But don’t worry if you’re not one of the first 100,000, as you’ll still earn the base camo — it just won’t be numbered.

How to get Gilded Ruin camo in Black Ops 7 and Warzone

To get the Gilded Ruin camo in Black Ops 7 and Warzone, you need to pre-order Modern Warfare 4, then earn 5,000 Skulls by getting eliminations across BO7 and Warzone modes.

Here’s everything you need to do:

1. Pre-order Modern Warfare 4 (ideally before BO7 Season 5 begins on July 23, as this is when the challenge begins).
2. After 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST on July 23, earn 5,000 Skulls across Black Ops 7 and Warzone:
   • Black Ops 7 Multiplayer: 10 Skulls per Elimination
   • Endgame: 5 Skulls per Elimination
   • Zombies: 1 Skull per Elimination
   • Warzone: 30 Skulls per Elimination

If you’re one of the first 100,000 players to complete this challenge, you’ll earn the Serialized Gilded Ruin camo. If not, you’ll still earn the camo without a number.

Is Gilded Ruin in Modern Warfare 4?

Yes, both Moonlit Pearl and Gilded Ruin will be available in Modern Warfare 4 at launch, so if you’re quick enough to earn a Serialized version, you can show it off all year.
