The Lebanese MTV channel reports that the Pentagon held a meeting with the military attachés of Arab countries, including Lebanon, a few hours ago. The attendees were informed that Iran’s response is imminent, expected within two to three days, and will be limited, not leading to a full-scale regional war.
NY Post: Iran is ready to “imminently” fire ballistic missiles at Israel in response to the IDF’s ground incursion into Lebanon, a US official said Tuesday.

After warning of a retaliatory attack on the Jewish state over its advancements against the Hezbollah terrorist group, Tehran is allegedly set to fire a direct attack against the Jewish state, a senior White House official told the Post.
“We are actively supporting defensive preparations to defend Israel against this attack,” the official said. “A direct military attack from Iran against Israel will carry severe consequences for Iran.”

Iran preparing missile attack on Israel, White House says

Iran is preparing to fire ballistic missiles at Israel, according to a senior White House official, who said the attack could be launched “imminently.”
“We are actively supporting defensive preparations to defend Israel against this attack,” the official said in a statement. “A direct military attack from Iran against Israel will carry severe consequences for Iran.”
The news comes just hours after Israel announced it had begun raids into southern Lebanon to take out military capabilities of the Iranian-backed militia group Hezbollah.
