Brooke Shields playfully participated in the internet’s “bully” trend — and she’s not taking the hypothetical jokes about her gray hair and wrinkles too seriously.
The actress, 61, radiated confidence as she took part in the challenge with her daughter Grier, who playfully roasted Shields to see her snappy and funny comebacks.
“OK, I’m going to insult you like a bully, and you need to tell me how you would respond,” the 20-year-old told her famous mother in a new TikTok video on Saturday.
“You have a lot of gray hairs,” Grier said, as Shields responded, “It’s a sign of maturity.”
“You’re so fat that every time you sit on a chair, it breaks,” Grier said.
The “Blue Lagoon” star briefly paused before saying, “When was the last time that I would’ve even been near you at a dinner table,” referring to “you” as the assumed bully.
Grier, who was behind the camera, praised her mom’s effortless response. She then said, “You’re one of the most annoying people I’ve ever met.”
Without thinking, Shields responded, “Well, I’m really famous, so I think it worked out OK.”
“There are so many wrinkles on your forehead,” Grier said, as the “Pretty Baby” star replied, “It’s because I’m worried about the world because it’s inhabitated by people like you.”
Several fans praised Shields’ graceful responses, with one commenting, “No mean bone in her body 😭 such a sweetheart.”
Another pointed out that the “Endless Love” star appeared “uncomfortable being mean,” writing, “She’s the sweetest and so gorgeous!”
Shields shares Grier and her 23-year-old daughter, Rowan, with her husband, Chris Henchy, whom she wed in 2001.
Shields and her daughters notably have a close relationship, often showing up to events together.
The “Suddenly Susan” alum and Rowen also got matching ladybug tattoos in June 2021.
They added to their collection with fineline ink on their forearms that reads, “and to a party,” in January 2025.
