Alleged details in Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon's will have been revealed, including who he left his entire fortune to nearly three months after his shock death.

The late star passed away in his sleep on March 20 at the age of 54, with his cause of death later being ruled as natural.

Brendon allegedly left his estate to just one individual in a handwritten will, according to court documents obtained by People which were filed on Monday.

His parents Robert and Kathleen Schultz were listed in the will, as well as his twin brother Kelton and ex-girlfriend Sarah Marker.

However, Brendon allegedly left 'everything' to just his brother in an 11-word will that had been written on a piece of lined paper.

'Kel gets everything. He can figure it out,' the late actor penned, while adding, 'Sarah gets nothing.'

It is not known when Brendon wrote the will and the value of his estate has also not been disclosed.

Last month in May, his brother petitioned to be appointed the personal representative for the star's estate with a hearing set for July 16.

Brendon's loved ones announced his passing on March 20 in a statement uploaded to his Instagram account.

'We are heartbroken to share the passing of our brother and son, Nicholas Brendon. He passed in his sleep of natural causes,' they began.

'Most people know Nicky for his work as an actor and for the characters he brought to life over the years,' his family said, before adding that he also had a 'passion' for both painting and art.

Brendon was 'passionate, sensitive, and endlessly driven to create,' the statement continued.

'Those who truly knew him understood that his art was one of the purest reflections of who he was.'

His loved ones concluded with, 'Our family asks for privacy during this time as we grieve his loss and celebrate the life of a man who lived with intensity, imagination and heart. Thank you to everyone who has shown love and support.'

Six weeks after his passing, his cause of death was revealed.

The Putnam County Coroner ruled that Brendon's death was natural since 90 percent of his right coronary artery was blocked due to atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, TMZ reported in May.

Contributing factors included acute pneumonia and a heart attack Brendon (born Schultz) had suffered in 2023 after being diagnosed with a congenital heart defect.

The longtime smoker had also undergone several spinal surgeries in his lifetime due to cauda equina syndrome.

And according to a Facebook post shared late last year, Brendon also underwent 'knee surgery' in 2025.

Brendon's friend found him unresponsive on March 20 around 8am at his home in Greencastle, Indiana and immediately called police and let them know he'd been coughing and suffering chest pains but declined to go to the hospital.

The twice-divorced star, who struggled with depression since childhood, had been arrested multiple times on charges like felony vandalism, public intoxication, grand theft and felony corporal injury to a spouse.

Brendon had publicly sought help from Dr. Phil and Dr. Drew Pinsky as well as completing at least four rehab stints in his sobriety journey.

Fans and former castmates mourned his passing by sharing emotional tributes after news of his passing came to light.

His Buffy co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar described his death as tragic and premature at the premiere of Ready or Not 2 in March.

'It's a tragedy when you lose anyone at any point,' Gellar said. 'It's a bigger tragedy when you lose someone way sooner than needs to be.'

She called Brendon 'an integral part of Buffy, and that never goes away.'

Gellar said of her late colleague's work on the series: 'I think as actors we talk a lot or think a lot about legacy.

'He brought so much joy to so many people on that show, and that lives on. And that's the truth.'

Gellar also took to her main Instagram page to share a throwback photo of herself with the late actor.

The actress penned in the caption: '"They'll never know how tough it is to be the one who isn't chosen. To live near to the spotlight, and never step in it. But I know. I see more than anybody realizes because nobody's watching me."

'I saw you Nicky. I know you are at peace, in that big rocking chair in the sky,' she concluded.
