Bush tells victims: 'A lot of help coming'

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush sought Thursday to reassure victims of Hurricane Katrina that the federal government was doing its best to send aid to the thousands of displaced and stranded people.
"I understand the anxiety of people on the ground," Bush told ABC's "Good Morning America." "... But I want people to know there's a lot of help coming."
Bush said he would visit the affected areas, but the trip was still being coordinated.
Bush surveyed Katrina's destruction from Air Force One on his way from Crawford, Texas, to Washington Wednesday.

Now there is another Katrina event, and the MSM are holding their index finger to pursed lips, saying "shhh" to Biden's and Kamala's response.

I remember vividly the attacks on Bush for the Katrina response, even though the inaction was the fault of the LA governor and New Orleans mayor for not properly preparing and not requesting assistance. No doubt there will be NO similar media attacks on Biden/Harris for giving illegal aliens EVERYTHING while giving nothing but the FINGER to people devastated by Hellen and our homeless vets.

but on that same day, while onboard AF1 at the N.O. airport, Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, could not decide if the National Guard should be called in. After what seemed like a few days, and after enough damage had been done, the Governor finally decided to let the National Guard help.
