Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has expanded its UTA Loan Interest-Free Borrowing program to cover 24 assets in total, adding 22 major crypto assets to the existing Tether (USDT) and USDC (USDC) coverage.
The expansion is designed to reduce funding costs for traders using Perpetual and Futures products under Bybit’s Unified Trading Account (UTA) framework.
The full list of supported assets now includes Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP (XRP), Cardano (ADA), Optimism (OP), NEAR Protocol (NEAR), Polkadot (DOT), Dogecoin (DOGE), Chainlink (LINK), Sui (SUI), Litecoin (LTC), Uniswap (UNI), Mantle (MNT), Aave (AAVE), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Hyperliquid (HYPE), Stellar (XLM), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Filecoin (FIL), Aptos (APT), and Avalanche (AVAX), alongside USDT and USDC.
Zero interest applies to automatic borrowing triggered by unrealized futures losses
The interest-free benefit applies specifically to scenarios where unrealized losses on Perpetual or Futures positions trigger automatic UTA borrowing.
Under this mechanism, traders no longer absorb interest charges on that borrowing as long as the amount stays within the applicable limit. Manual borrowing, Spot Margin borrowing, Options borrowing, and other borrowing types are excluded from the program. Once a borrowed amount exceeds the limit for a given asset, interest applies to the full balance.
Borrowing capacity scales with VIP tier, with higher tiers unlocking greater interest-free limits. Each account, including subaccounts, is assessed independently, meaning traders running multiple accounts benefit from separate limits rather than a shared cap.
Borrowing limits are pegged to the USD equivalent value of the borrowed asset at real-time prices and may shift with market conditions, with advance notice given before any change.
