Indiana Fever star and mega 'Swiftie' Caitlin Clark, 22, is divulging the real behind-the-scenes of her relationship with Taylor Swift - and why fans were so excited to see her when she attended the Eras Tour.
In an new interview with TIME Magazine, in which she was declared 'athlete of the year,' the journalist noted that Clark had attended 'back-to-back' Eras Tour shows at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana the week before their interview.
For the past few years, Swift has been on her worldwide, sold-out Eras Tour, which spanned over three hours and covered decades worth of her music, performing in Indiana in November.
When Clark attended the concerts, she met Swift's mom, Andrea, and the singer's boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
And, it turns out that Swift wasn't the only celebrity in the room - Clark noted to TIME that when she was there, sitting in a suite, so many fans wanted to take pictures with her and even gave her friendship bracelets, a signature at the Cruel Summer hitmaker's concerts.
'People are just going crazy that I'm there,' Clark told TIME.
'I thought people would be so in their own world, ready to see Taylor. And it was just completely the opposite,' she continued.
Clark noted that her team even gave her a 30-page PDF about how to 'navigate movements' while she was at the concert.

According to the outlet, Swift gifted the basketball superstar 'four bags of Eras Tour merchandise,' which included a note that said that the athlete was 'inspiring to watch from afar.'
Clark also spilled during the interview that Swift said that she and Kelce 'were excited to get to a Fever game now that the tour was winding down.'
And, as the cherry on top, Swift even invited her to attend a Chiefs game with her.
Plus, it looked like she impressed Kelce when they met at the concert, with the New Heights podcast host later calling her 'awesome.'
'(The concert) was fun, saw Caitlin Clark there, got to meet Caitlin,' Kelce said during a November episode of their podcast.
'She’s awesome, she loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city, and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart,' he continued.
'She was into the the show for sure, she was there with her mom and a few friends... I think this was like her third or fourth show she had been to, she's a Swiftie through and through, man.'
It's no secret that Clark is a big fan of Swift's - she planned to listen to the star's music to celebrate being the number one draft WNBA draft pick this past spring.

However, there was only one downside for Clark as a Swiftie - she admitted that she received so many friendship bracelets at the Eras Tour that it cut off her circulation

'I had a ton, all the way up the arm. I had to take them off. My circulation was getting cut off,' Clark said at the Women's Leadership Summit last month, per Fox News.
'Everyone was just chucking their bracelets at me,' she added.
This past weekend, Swift performed her final Eras Tour concerts in Vancouver, Canada, wrapping up the years-long tour.
