A day after Caitlin Clark was announced as TIME's Athlete of the Year, she wowed in a black dress on the red carpet and as part of a panel at an event for the company in New York City on Wednesday night.

Clark posed for many pictures by herself in her dress, showing off the silver straps and chic design.

The Indiana Fever star also took photos with track and field athletes Anna Cockrell and Dina Asher-Smith on the red carpet, as well as TIME CEO Jessica Sibley and her parents.

Clark's panel was moderated by sports journalist Maria Taylor, with the crowd at Chelsea Piers listening to the WNBA sensation's every word.

Clark, 22, became the first WNBA player to win the award and the second basketball player after LeBron James took home the honor in 2020.

She is the third female to win the award after Simone Biles in 2021 and Megan Rapinoe in 2019.

The previous two females to win the award came after dominating the headlines  during world sporting tournaments.

Clark was a tour de force by solely playing basketball in America, as she was left off the 12-person Olympic basketball squad for Team USA.

Clark did face Olympic competition as a WNBA All-Star, which her team won.

Others to have won the award include Lionel Messi last year and Aaron Judge in 2022.

Clark's impact on sports may not yet be truly known, as she will enter her second season of professional basketball next May.

No runner-ups were announced to Clark for the award, with Shohei Ohtani, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, or a repeat win for Biles appearing to be the only credible contenders.
