You might have been waiting for this moment your entire life, or perhaps you’re just looking for a reason to embrace 50 years of life. But, friends, 50 is when you officially hit the “Senior” stage and start reaping the benefits of an AARP membership.
While we don’t quite agree with being called a “Senior” at such a young age, we can’t deny the incredible perks of being an AARP member. Right now, you can get a year-long membership for just $9 per year. After that, a second membership for anyone in your household will be free.
What comes with a membership?
An AARP membership unlocks discounts, programs, and services from trusted brands, such as AT&T, Denny’s, Hilton and more. If you like traveling, this membership will offer flight discounts to cruises so you can be frugal with hard-earned cash. After all you’ve worked your entire life, let AARP do the heavy lifting from now on and scour the best prices for you.
Be sure to install the brand’s trusted extension on your browser. Just by using it, you can earn up to 750 AARP Rewards Points and up to 15 daily points. Points can be redeemed for sweepstakes entries, gift cards, local deals, and discounts at your favorite stores.

They stopped sending me prepaid envelopes. I would send them back full of sand and such.

Wouldn’t care if they gave it away for free. It’s a wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC.

AMAC is better because it conservative. AARP should be called AARD’s. They helped Obongo push through his rotten Obamacare.

Mega DITTOS!!!
AARP assisted Hussein, pushing the Hussein ‘Care’ insanity every way they could.

The commie organization that helped usher in commie care?
No thanks.
They conned the older folks into accepting socialized medicine in the US. What they thought would be lower prices just resulted in rationing.
And guess who gets rationed out of the system first? The elderly. No elective procedures for you!
In fact, you might not even get what you need to survive if you’re old enough.

They would have to pay me to join. And I still wouldn’t join.

As soon as I turned 50 I received AARP’s junk mail. I took a red Sharpie and wrote on it in big block letters:
DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN UNTIL YOU STOP SUPPORTING SOCIALIST POLICIES IN AMERICA.
I then sent it back to them in their own postage paid envelope.
That was over 12 years ago, and I haven’t heard from them since.
