Dave Portnoy led the charge for TV networks to time their virtual scoreboards unhurriedly during the first round of the NCAA tournament and the networks obliged.

On Thursday, Portnoy and Dan Katz starred in DraftKings and Barstool Sports' live companion of the March Madness opening.

While watching the action, Katz called for networks to delay showing final scores to avoid spoiling results while tracking several games at once.

'Hey @CBSSports @truTV @TBSNetwork @tntsports FIX THE F***NG SCOREBOARD ON THE TOP SO WE DONT GET SPOILED TRYING TO WATCH MULTIPLE GAMES AT ONCE!!! I WILL SKULLF***,' Katz exclaimed on X.

Portnoy reposted his peer's cry and wrote 'It's not rocket science,' before tagging CBS, TruTV, TBS, and TNT Sports.

'Just put everything back 30 seconds so you don’t ruin the games for everybody watching them all,' Portnoy suggested.

Dave Portnoy and Dave Katz called for networks to slow down their score boards on Thursday

'How stupid are the people who work for you guys you haven’t figured out the score bugs ruin the games?'

Shortly after, the networks appeared to act on the problem, which Katz pointed out during their stream.

'I think they're fixing it, Dave,' he said, pointing at one of their screens. 'Look at Wisconsin's time and look at their game. They might have actually fixed it.'

Portnoy sat quietly with his fists over his mouth, scanning the screens. 'It's not the same [time] now, no?' Portnoy asked.

'No, it's synced up,' Katz replied. 'So, you're not getting spoiled.'

The first day of March Madness opened up with Creighton beating Louisville, 89-75, and Purdue beating High Point, 75-63. Other matchups include Wisconsin-Montana, Auburn-Alabama State, and SIU Edwardsville-Houston.
