The ceasefire in Lebanon that came into effect on Wednesday morning could help "limit pressure on Israel's public finance metrics," Fitch Ratings announced in a Thursday statement. 

In August, Big Three ratings agency Fitch Ratings dropped Israel's credit rating from A+ to A with a negative outlook.
