Here we go again with the “No Fun League”…

When it comes to anything that looks like a gun during touchdown celebrations, the NFL has been cracking down here in the 2024 season, and one of the top superstars in the league is no exception to the rule — Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

After scoring a recent touchdown, Mahomes used his arms to make a gun while celebrating, and the NFL is coming for a chunk of his wallet as a result. (RELATED: NFL’s ‘Thursday Night Football’ Game Between Steelers-Browns Turns Into A Straight Up Snow Globe)

According to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Mahomes was slapped with a fine worth more than $14,000 for what the league is branding a “violent gesture.”

Mahomes is just one of many players who have been fined and penalized for using gun motions during celebrations.

While we’re here, this happened in Sunday’s game between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears, so you can expect yet another gun-related fine from the NFL.

Looks like the @NFL is going to get to fine another player for pretending to have a gun in his waistline. They’ve handed down fines for gestures like this before. pic.twitter.com/erSgggCeFh
