Chrissy Metz issued a “progress report” on the heels of her GLP-1 announcement.
The “This Is Us” alum showed off her bicep while filming an Instagram Story from bed on Monday, flexing for her followers.
“Look at him,” the actress, 45, said before shaking her arm. “You know, I love all my blips and blops and my flips and flops, but she’s making progress on the strength training journey.”
Metz continued, “She’s making progress. We like progress. That’s my progress report.”
Last year, the Broadway star credited strength training while breaking down for the Daily Mail how she shed 100 pounds.
Metz was asked in the April 2025 interview whether she would slim down with the help of Ozempic or surgery — and she shot down the ideas.
“I don’t even take Tylenol, like, I really am such a weirdo that way,” she quipped at the time. “I’m like, ‘Yeah, no.’”
The Emmy nominee added, “I think it’s important to, like, destigmatize anything. But I also think it’s people’s personal decision to decide what it is that they want to do for their body. … Ultimately, at the end of the day, we all just want to feel good and feel good about ourselves.”
On Monday, Metz went public with her GLP-1 journey.
“I’ve tried so many modalities, whether it was diets or therapy, and none of it really worked for me,” Metz, who has partnered with Ro, the direct-to-patient digital health company that provides GLP-1s, told People.
“It’s so nice not to be obsessing about what I’m going to have every minute, even as I’m still consuming the meal,” she continued. “I just vilified food for so long because I was taught that it was bad, and you shouldn’t eat this or that.”
Metz did not specify which specific medication she’s taking or when she started.
Dubbing herself “a regular old girl who is trying her best,” Metz clapped back at “judgy” people who will criticize her decision.
“It doesn’t matter, because like I always say, they’re not in my life,” she told the outlet. “They’re not in my doctor’s notes. They’re not in the hereditary issues my family has.”
The Golden Globe nominee noted, “I’m not getting any younger. I’m in perimenopause, and there were obesity issues within my family and with my father.”
