CAROL STREAM, IL — The editing department of the publication formerly known as Christianity Today has confirmed that the magazine has officially changed its name to You Do You Today.

According to sources close to the situation, the change is meant to better reflect the worldview of the magazine.

"The change was overdue," said editor Justine James. "We had kicked around other options like 'Kinda Sorta Tangentially Related To Theism Today' and 'Eh, Whatever, Today'. In the end, we felt the vibe of our beliefs was best encapsulated by the simple phrase 'You do you.'"

In a surprising development, several conservative Christian commentators from across denominational boundaries announced support for the change. "I completely support not profaning the name of Christ," explained commentator Matt Walsh. "It was high time they had the guts to say what they believed. I just hope the change will lessen the degree of heresy happening in that building. I doubt it."

At publishing time, the editors of You Do You Today had announced a new spinoff publication entitled Whatever The Culture Thinks But Couched In Quasi-Religious Language Today.
