The no-pants trend is still going strong — just ask Christina Aguilera.
Last night, the pop star, 43, took the look for a spin, wearing holiday-approved gold hot pants at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the reopening of H&M’s Times Square flagship store.
Clad in head-to-toe H&M, Aguilera made the light-reflecting bottoms the focal point of her outfit by finishing off with a black velvet coat, a simple tee and thigh-high leather boots.
Her jewelry — high-shine mirrored silver hoops — perfectly tied into her look’s festive vibe.
Aguilera combated the cold New York City weather with sheer black tights.
For beauty, the “Lady Marmalade” singer opted for complementing sparkly gold shadow, thick, long lashes, and a glossy mauve-colored lip.
On Nov. 15, Aguilera made a surprise appearance at Sabrina Carpenter’s Los Angeles concert, just two months after the singers collaborated for the 25th anniversary of Aguilera’s debut album.
With their long bleached blond hair and sleek black outfits, the power duo almost looked like twins on stage, as evidenced by videos taken of the show.
Together, they performed a few renditions of Aguilera’s hit songs, including “Ain’t No Other Man” and “What A Girl Wants.”
In her cover story for Glamour published in August, the five-time Grammy winner revealed she’ll be releasing new music soon.
“I’ve been accumulating [songs],” she told the outlet, without spilling many details. “I’m actually dying to get it out. I just haven’t fully had time.”
Stay tuned.
