What a mom wants.
Christina Aguilera held her son, Max, and her daughter, Summer, close to her as they posed for a rare picture with the singer’s fiancé, Matt Rutler.
Last week, the “Genie In a Bottle” singer, 43, shared a carousel of “unseen bits” on Instagram of her time traveling and behind-the-scenes at some of her shows.
In the final snap of the post, Aguilera, who shares Max, 16, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman and Summer, 10, with Rutler, posed with her kids and the “Burlesque” production assistant, 39, standing on a stone bridge during a recent vacation.
The pop star wrapped her arms around both of her children, while Rutler stood behind them and smiled.
Max looked away from the camera while holding an open Coke bottle in his hand, while Summer smiled while leaning back on her mom.
Aguilera rarely shares photos of her son and daughter, whom she welcomed in January 2008 and August 2014, respectively.
In August, the “What A Girl Want” songstress got emotional about watching her kids grow up.
“Your kids trigger things in you that you don’t want them to go through,” she told Glamour at the time. “And it’s almost like you’re reliving this whole thing again.”
Aguilera said she sometimes struggles with shielding her children from the trauma she experienced and allowing them to “learn their own lessons.”
“I’ve seen so much so young,” she admitted. “You just want the best for your kids.”
Aguilera and Rutler got engaged in 2014 but are in no rush to get married.
The five-time Grammy winner was previously wed to Bratman, 47, from 2005 to 2011.
