“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime” star Christopher Meloni has been named the recipient of this year’s Canopy Award at the annual North Fork TV Festival.
A formal ceremony will be held on June 17 at The Halyard at the Sound View Greenport in New York. The festival runs June 17-18.
Per the North Fork TV Festival, “The Canopy Award honors a member of the New York television community. The winner’s persistence and integrity, bound by the twin spirits of independence and collaboration, stoke the creative ambitions of diverse people who have important stories to tell. The ceremony will feature a conversation with Mr. Meloni and an audience Q&A to follow.”

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the two-day North Fork TV Festival, which features exclusive screenings, in-depth panels, and curated networking experiences. New for 2025, the festival will debut an exclusive Actor’s Studio, offering intimate, masterclass-style sessions with industry experts to help performers refine their craft and navigate the evolving television landscape.
Previous featured guests at the festival have included Marcia Gay Harden, Richard Schiff, Stephen Moyer, John Turturro, Kelsey Grammer, Chris Noth, Bridget Moynahan, Aida Turturro, Carrie Preston and Constance Wu among others.
Tickets for the 2025 North Fork TV Festival are now on sale, offered in three tiers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The festival’s full schedule will be announced at a later date.
