Wall Street Chuck accidentally gave Republicans a home-run GOP midterm ad Tuesday during an interview on “The View” in what might be his most cringe moment yet.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is currently getting cooked by his own party after caving to President Donald Trump and Republicans in the government funding fight. His leadership chops have been called into question as Democrats like New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez circle, smelling blood in the water. (Subscribe to MR. The last thing Schumer wants to do in the coming days and weeks is say something incredibly stupid, condescending, or out-of-touch — anything that would give Republicans, or his colleagues for that matter, political ammunition. He also doesn’t want to say something so stupid, condescending, or out-of-touch that could not only anger conservatives or moderates but, if taken out of context, also Democrats.

And did just that. Though he was seemingly discussing the supposed cabal of oligarchs who control the Republican Party, Schumer still handed the GOP an ad for the century as he mocked people for having the very relatable feeling of hating taxes and the government telling them what to do.

Dem Senate leader Chuck Schumer mocks Americans who want to keep their hard-earned income and praises the government as a “barrier” to them:
“You know what their attitude is, ‘I made my money all by myself. How dare your government take my money from me?’ … They hate… pic.twitter.com/vb4oDxPQ3V

“The Republican Party is a different kettle of fish than it used to be. That’s why we’re fighting them so hard,” Schumer told “The View” ladies. “They are controlled by a small group of wealthy, greedy people. And you know what their attitude is? ‘I made my money all by myself. How dare your government take my money from me. I don’t want to pay taxes.’ Or, ‘I built my company with my bare hands. How dare your government tell me how I should treat my customers, the land and order that I own, or my employees.”

“They hate government,” he went on to say before a commercial break. “Government’s a barrier to people — a barrier to stop them from doing things. They want to destroy it. We are not letting them do it and we’re united.”

At this point, Schumer should give up and roll over to left-wing Democrats the same way he went belly up for Trump and Republicans. A changing of the guard is likely underway in the Democratic Party, and Wall Street Chuck’s cosplay as a salt-of-the-earth, defender of the People won’t stop what’s coming in 2028 — or even 2026.
