Claustrophobic way fetishist died after requesting grim sex acts from petite Californian housewife

The fetishist fatally asphyxiated during a BDSM role play with a sex worker made even kinkier requests leading up to his death.

Michael Dale wanted his eyes sealed shut with ultra-strong Gorilla Glue and then for OnlyFans model Michaela Rylaarsdam to glue a sex toy in his mouth, court papers obtained by DailyMail.com revealed.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Dale, 56, had asked Rylaarsdam to encase him in Saran Wrap 'like a mummy' and glue a pair of women's boots on his feet before he died in 2023.

Rylaarsdam, 31, is now facing a charge of second-degree murder for the bizarre encounter at a house in Escondido, California. She has pleaded not guilty in California Superior Court in Vista, 40 miles north of San Diego.

Her arrest warrant states that Dale was unable to move as his legs and wrists were bound in plastic wrap and his hands were covered in duct tape. 

That made him 'unable to move or use his fingers to manipulate anything,' including the bag and wrappings over his head that ultimately asphyxiated him.

Meanwhile, as Dale was lying on the floor unresponsive, the warrant says video evidence showed Rylaarsdam 'masturbated with a vibrator next to him, apparently creating content' for her web page where she calls herself Asshley SinCal – pointing out that the H in her first name is silent.

Those videos – as well as the police and medical examiner's report – have been sealed from public view. But according to the arrest warrant, they show Dale had Saran Wrap tied around his neck and 'plastic over his head with duct tape wrapped around it for at least eight minutes'.

Mother-of-three Rylaarsdam called 911 when she discovered Dale unresponsive. He was determined brain dead and died when taken off life support four days later on April 21.

A stripper, escort, mother and adult content creator with a significant social media presence, Rylaarsdam told Escondido Police police that the April 17, 2023 incident marked the 'first time she ever engaged in any fetish type behavior'.

She was charged with murder and booked in jail on February 14 of this year – nearly two years after Dale's death.

Little is known of Dale, except that he was born and spent most of his life in Missouri. He had been at the Escondido house for no more than five days, a neighbor told the San Diego Union Tribune.

The neighbor said he was called in and saw Dale in sweatpants and wrapped in film. Rylaarsdam, who was 'super freaked out', was on the phone with a police dispatcher who was coaching her on how to do CPR.

Rylaarsdam's defense will likely claim that she did not place or tie the plastic bag over Dale's head, nor obstruct his breathing, and that Dale had a death wish.

Prosecutors will most likely base their case on the argument that Rylaarsdam went too far in the BDSM role-play.

A glimpse into what services she offered in the realm of BDSM role-play, that went too far with Dale, was revealed on her Secret Hostess profile in which she boasted of her sexual exploits, charging up to $1,500 'plus a generous tip'.

According to court documents, Dale paid Rylaarsdam more than $11,000 to 'have conversations with him and to come to his house, tie him up and perform other acts of bondage.'

On Secret Hostess, her most expensive package is listed at $1,500 for the 'ultimate incall'.

A 'wild incall' costs $1,100 and a mild one $800. Outcalls are $300 cheaper in each case.

She also listed a FaceTime or Zoom play show at $150 and a 'toy show' at $200 and said she liked a $25 non-refundable deposit that 'can be made via Zelle, Cashapp, Venmo, PayPal or invoice'.

Rylaarsdam put up her Secret Hostess page on April 9, 2024, 12 days shy of the first anniversary of Dale's death.

The shocking alleged crime is in marked contrast to the life Rylaarsdam presents on one of her social media profiles.

Dressed in white and wearing simple, tasteful makeup, the stunning mother-of-three beams for the camera alongside husband Brandon, who's dressed in complementary colors.

But she lived a much seedier life in private, with the full knowledge of her husband who allegedly helped run their 'business'.

When contacted by DailyMail.com, Brandon said 'I would prefer not to speak on it, we are letting our lawyer take care of that.'

But in the case of her BDSM gone wrong, the Deputy District Attorney David Jarman told the San Diego Union Tribune: 'The evidence showed that he hired her to perform bondage acts and fetish acts.

'There is no indication that he asked her to obstruct his breathing, asked her to put tape over his mouth, asked her to put a plastic bag over his head.'

Rylaarsdam denied placing a bag over Dale's head and has pleaded not guilty to the second-degree murder charge.

Her attorney Dan Cohen said his client did not mean to kill Dale, noting that while consent is not a defense it is 'certainly a mitigating factor.'

'I think there was no intent to kill and no attempt to cover this up,' he said. 'And she acted appropriately when she realized this was a problem.

'There is definitely a consensual element — not only something he consented to, something he was actively seeking.'

He also questioned the cause of death, claiming Dale had alcohol and prescription drugs in his system at the time.
