Call of Duty fans are running scared of a hacker who has been resetting their stats in Black Ops 2, and even kicking them out of lobbies.
For years, Call of Duty players have been revisiting some of the older games in the franchise’s history. The original Modern Warfare 2 and pretty much all of the Black Ops series before Cold War have active communities. However, you’re probably going to run into a hacker at some point.
Back on July 9, Black Ops and Black Ops 2 ports were released for PlayStation 5, complete with fresh servers, giving PlayStation players a chance at playing them for the first time in years. They are true ports too, no remasters or touched-up graphics here.
And while players have been flocking to revisit the old games, they have run into one big problem – a player known as C Isn’t Sharp, who keeps kicking them out of lobbies and resetting their stats.
C Isn’t Sharp keeps ruining Black Ops on PS5
That’s right, just like BowieKnife99 in Forza Horizon 6, C Isn’t Sharp has become the villain of the Black Ops community.
Players who encounter the account have reported being kicked out of games, being unable to change their classes, even being deranked, and pushed up to 16th prestige. Some have even seen their classes have their names changed by the hacker.
A number of streamers, including BAMS, have quickly run away at the sight of C Isn’t Sharp’s name too.
Some players have pointed out that this issue has been around in the original game for years, and that nothing has been done about it to this point.
The likes of ModernWarzone and others have appealed to Activision, Iron Galaxy, and Treyarch, in the hopes of getting it addressed.
Apparently there’s a guy by the name of C isn’t Sharp going around the Black Ops 2 port resetting people’s accounts and stats.

Others noted that it isn’t just C Isn’t Sharp who is able to do this, but there are other players following suit too. It’s just that C Isn’t Sharp has become the most notorious of the lot.
For now, your best bet is to leave the lobby and quickly shut down your game if you do come across the account.
