UFC star Colby Covington's obsession with Donald Trump reached a new level on Saturday as he walked into his fight bizarrely kissing a bobblehead chain with the President-elect's face on it.

Covington wore the gold chain around his neck as he entered Amalie Arena with an expensive suit jacket on and no undershirt.

Next to his exposed chest at the center of the chain was a bust of Trump from the neck up, with the former President wearing a black and gold Make America Great Again hat.

Covington first smiled widely while holding Trump's face, before leaning down to kiss it on the forehead.

The longtime Trump supporter and Octagon veteran then returned to smiling and looking admirably at his chain.

Covington was in the main event of the UFC card in Tampa Saturday night in a welterweight bout against Joaquin Buckley.

Covington has supported Trump for many years, with the President-elect returning the favor

At UFC 296, Trump was in the front row for Covington's fight against Leon Edwards, giving him final words of encouragement before taking the loss.

Covington was also one of a few MMA fighters to speak out in support of Trump after he was shot in the ear at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania in July.

The UFC has taken a liking to Trump, especially since his return to the White House was secured last month. It is a safe bet in an organization run by Dana White.

Trump attended the UFC card at Madison Square Garden less than two weeks after winning the Presidential election.

Upon taking his seat ringside, the crowd in New York gave him a raucous cheer.

His involvement at UFC 309 reached a fever pitch after Jon Jones retained his heavyweight championship and copied Trump's signature dance after knocking out Stipe Miocic.
