Comey Seeking Dismissal of His ‘86 47’ Case

Former FBI Director James Comey asked a court to dismiss the Justice Department’s “86 47” indictment on the basis that the prosecution was vindictive. He also argued that his social media post, which included a seashell formation reading “86 47” wasn’t a threat and was protected by the First Amendment.
