Cops showed up to Brian and Zach Hickerson’s grandmother’s home in Greenville, South Carolina, days after Hayden Panettiere was found dead at a nearby Airbnb.
Two cars with the Greenville Police Department arrived at the property belonging to Betty Ellison on Wednesday at 8:20 a.m., Page Six can exclusively reveal.
An officer approached the residence and repeatedly knocked on the front door but received no response. Simultaneously, her colleague tried the side door.
The officers left the property — which Zach, 38, was pictured at on Tuesday — after around three minutes.
Ellison’s four-bedroom home — which had its blinds closed all morning — is about five miles away from the Judson Mill Lofts apartment complex where Panettiere, 36, died of a suspected “overdose” on Sunday afternoon.
Neither GPD nor the Hickerson family immediately responded to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Just before 2 p.m. on Sunday, cops and medical personnel responded to the Airbnb where Panettiere “had been temporarily staying” after receiving a call about a woman who was “unresponsive” and in apparent “cardiac arrest.”
Brian, 37, and a “very emotional” Zach were present, according to the incident report, which also stated that Zach described Panettiere as his “brother’s girlfriend.” Brian then showed officers a “bag of medication” — whose exact names were redacted — the actress had allegedly been taking.
First responders “initiated advanced cardiac life support measures,” but their “resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful,” per the coroner’s office. Panettiere — who was open about her struggles with anxiety, alcoholism, opioid addiction and postpartum depression — was pronounced dead just after 2:30 p.m., at which point Brian became “emotional.”
