Already frustrated by the Dallas Cowboys' 2-2 start, fans are now blasting owner Jerry Jones for his dramatic arrival on board a helicopter at Wednesday's practice.

The aircraft landed on one of the unused fields at the team facility in Frisco, although team activities were briefly interrupted as everyone watched the 81-year-old billionaire's pilot gently bringing the helicopter down to the turf.

Jones then got out of the helicopter and shoot hands with quarterback Dak Prescott on his way to the sidelines.

'What a joke of an owner,' complained one fan.

Several others complained about Jones' offseason decision against signing running back Derrick Henry, who signed a two-year, $16 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens before running for 151 yards and two touchdowns in a September 22 win over Dallas.

'Bought more fuel for his helicopter instead of signing Derrick Henry,' one fan remarked.

'Can't afford Derrick Henry or Davante Adams but can afford to do this,' another added, mentioning the well-paid Las Vegas Raiders receiver.

Even after filling out the 53-man roster, Dallas currently has $25 million in cap space, according to Spotrac. That is more than all but six teams.

Another critic admitted to regularly seeing Jones' chopper: 'I've seen this helicopter fly over my house and I flip it off every time.'

Jones also serves as the Cowboys' GM and defiantly vowed in August to stay in that role.

'I've done it all. So I have an ordinate amount of confidence that f***, if anybody can figure out how to get this s*** done, I can figure out how to get it done,' Jones told long-time Cowboys reporter Clarence Hill in an interview for AllDlls.com.

He continued, 'I've been there every which way from Sunday, and have I busted my a** a bunch, a bunch. And there's nobody living that's out cutting and shooting that can't give you a bunch of times they busted their ass. So hell no, there's nobody that could f***ing come in here and do all the contracts … and be a GM any better than I can.'

Jones faced criticism over the offseason for keeping head coach Mike McCarthy after failing to reach the Divisional Round of the playoffs for the third time in four seasons.

He also took heat during wide receiver CeeDee Lamb's prolonged contract holdout, which ended just before the season they when the All-Pro agreed to a four-year, $136 million contract extension.

The five-time Super Bowl-champion Cowboys have just one playoff win over the last five seasons.
