He was the wrong arm of the law.

A disgraced NYPD cop admitted he had sex with a suspect — to whom he sent a penis picture — and sexually harassed two crime victims, one of which had to block him on her phone because of his aggressive advances.

Ex-cop Matthew Lambert, 33, made the confession as he pleaded guilty to three counts of official misconduct Wednesday and was sentenced to two years of probation for his sleazy stalking campaign, the Manhattan DA’s Office said.

“Celebration drinks when this is over?” Lambert texted a theft victim on March 19, 2024. “If you say now, I’m still gonna work hard on your case, I promise.”

It was one of dozens of creepy messages he sent to the three victdms.

“This defendant’s disturbing conduct is unacceptable for a member of law enforcement,” District Attorney Alvin Bragg said in a statement. “In addition to sending extremely inappropriate text messages to victims while he was investigating their cases, he abused his power to engage in a sexual encounter with a woman he had arrested just hours earlier.”

Lambert, who joined the force in 2014, resigned in December after the allegations surfaced.

The inappropriate trolling began in March 2024 with the theft victim, including one text message where he admitted to the woman that he was “taken,” but still interested in her.

“So, sorry if it’s like annoying that I was asking,” he wrote. “You’re just really good looking and seem so cool. . . And like I said, that has nothing to do with the case. I’ll always keep it professional.”

The woman was forced to block him after Lambert kept reaching out for two months, prosecutors said.

The former cop also harassed an assault victim on one of his cases, texting the woman from March 28, 2024 through May 14, 2024, according to a criminal complaint.

“You’re absolutely beautiful,” he told her. “I was shocked when I met you. I mean, no disrespect to you and your relationship. I’m saying this in a respectful way, if that’s even possible.”

Then, on May 20, 2024, Lambert arrested another woman on a charge of petty larceny, and told her he could “probably” release her on a desk appearance ticket, which would mean she could leave the 13th Precinct stationhouse with a court date rather than get locked up before she saw a judge.

The woman was released on a DAT, and just 2 1/2 hours later, Lambert texted her.

“If you want I could come say hello,” he wrote. “Up to you. You tell me if you want me to.

“I can’t really text too much though. Kinda busy,” he added. “Just let me know if you want me to pass by on the way home. I don’t mind a quick hello at all.”

Lambert then texted the woman explicit pics of his private parts. Shortly after midnight on May 21 — less than four hours after he arrested the woman — he showed up at her home and the two had sex inside the cop’s car, the district attorney’s office said.

“You’re so cool,” he later messaged her. “Thanks for hanging out.”
