A three-year-old Cumbrian toddler has made history by becoming the youngest person to climb all 214 peaks in the Lake District.
Navy Moores, alongside his parents and two siblings, moved to Cumbria earlier this year and enjoy hiking together as a family.
The quintet decided to embark on the 214 peaks, known as the Wainwrights, five months ago.
When asked by GB News’s Stephen Dixon as to “why on earth" they decided to climb all the Wainwrights, Navy's dad, Daniel, replied: “We were out hiking one day and someone saw us and told us that what Navy was doing was impressive.
“We had done hiking together as a family because it’s something that we could do together that was compatible, it was a cheap way to get out, you could put some fuel in the car and you could go out and enjoy the day."
He added: “It’s become quite a challenge for hikers all over the UK, in fact all over the world to come to the Lake District to complete the Wainwrights.
“It was just something that we felt after moving to the Lake District, we should at least do.”
Navy and his family completed around 510 miles and 220,000 ft of cumulative climbing over the five months that it took to climb the 214 peaks.

Leanne, Navy’s mum, told GB News that they are his "sherpas”, when asked about the independence of Navy during his expeditions.
Stephen then asked the young boy: “Did you enjoy yourself?”
The three-year-old was too shy to respond and instead chose to bury his head into his mum’s arms.
Mr Moores said: “We never set out to go and get a record for Navy to become the youngest known to complete the Wainwrights.
'It was always about going out together as a family for a hike and just enjoying that time together', his father said

“It was always about going out together as a family for a hike and just enjoying that time together.”
He added: “I think we learnt during lockdown actually, like that was the eye-opener for the world, that families had to spend time together”.
Navy has more challenges in store to complete in the future, but his dad stressed: “Above all it’s about the enjoyment because the minute you lose the enjoyment there’s no point in doing it.”
