The document devotes roughly half its content to tips for managing Muslim student sensitivities while mentioning military families only three times and first responders once.

🏛️ Supreme Court blocks GOP-backed congressional map. The high court paused a lower court order that would have let Missouri use its 2025 map, which aimed to shift the state from six Republican seats to seven. Missouri voters will now decide the map's fate in a November referendum after the state Supreme Court ruled the legislature's redistricting plan was subject to public vote.

🚢 Houthis seize a key Yemeni port. Iran-backed forces captured the port of Mocha and pushed south toward the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a critical waterway through which 8 percent of global oil flows daily. The advance threatens to squeeze another major shipping lane while the Strait of Hormuz remains disrupted by the Iran War.

🚫 Trump proposes ending grace period for H-1B visa holders. Under the rule change, foreign workers would have to leave the country immediately if they lose employment tied to their visa status.
