WHAT WE'RE WATCHING

📰 WH Press Secretary out after five days on the job. Katie Zacharia departed her role as White House Press Secretary just five days after starting, following President Trump's suggestion that she "reconsider" the position. Her brief tenure included a single 14-minute briefing where she took questions from only three outlets, and scrutiny over reports claiming she failed the California bar exam.
🏫 Oregon father kills school shooter, saves countless lives. A father with a concealed carry firearm stopped a mass shooting by confronting and killing the teen gunman in just under three minutes, before police arrived. 🔍 Ilhan Omar raid moved forward after feds seized sister's phone. The DHS search of Rep. Here's something most drivers don't realize: two people with the identical car, age, and driving record can get quotes hundreds of dollars apart depending on the insurer. Every company prices risk differently, so there's no single "best" rate — only the best rate for you. Compare.com checks your profile against more than 120 top insurers at once and shows you exactly where you stand, in minutes. No repeat forms, no sales calls. It's the only way to know if you're on the low end or the high end of the price range.
SOME GOOD NEWS
Two Indiana teenagers saved a grandmother and her two grandchildren after they fell into a pond and couldn’t swim. One grandchild, a 2-year-old, was trapped underwater in a stroller and needed help breathing. All three are now in good health, and the town will soon recognize the teen boys for their heroic actions.
EDITOR’S NOTE

France is on fire. Thousands of rioters, looters, and agitators have been arrested. The media claims the riots are the result of French students being upset that there aren’t enough teachers in public schools. In other words, they just want more homework.
Does anyone believe that?
I don’t. Especially not as rioters parade images of the guillotine while wearing Palestinian-terrorist keffiyehs, and yell “Allahu Akbar” as they attack police.
What’s really happening, as brave journalists in France have reported, is the convergence of France’s radical Left-wing fringe, the Muslim Brotherhood’s French youth movements, and young people possessed by the French spirit of revolt. It’s all happening as polls increasingly show France’s right-wing, anti-immigration parties gaining steam.
What’s more, some are reporting that French intelligence believes the violence is part of an electoral strategy by France’s far-left party (which backs Islam) ahead of the next elections.
In other words, it’s the violent clash of civilizations: France’s conservative wing against the Left and Islam. And this may just be the beginning…
