This comes after months of Trump publicly teasing both Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio as potential heirs.

🚨 Prosecutors refused to pursue Arizona voter data hacker. White House documents reveal a hacker extracted 633,000 Maricopa County voter records in 2020, admitted to the crime, yet faced no charges after the US Attorney, Arizona AG, and two county DAs all declined to prosecute. The FBI closed the case in 2023 under Biden.

🐶 Major errors found in DOGE's savings claims. The Government Accountability Office reported that Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency inflated its effectiveness, counting $15.3 million in lease terminations already underway before DOGE existed.

A: Yes, and some of it has already become law. On his first day back in office, Trump signed an executive order directing the Bureau of Prisons to house all federal inmates according to biological sex. The order also sought to end taxpayer-funded transition surgeries for federal prisoners.

That order reversed Biden-era policy that allowed men identifying as women to be housed in women's federal facilities — a policy that led to multiple assault cases in California and New Jersey.

At the federal level, several congressional Republicans introduced standalone legislation like the Prison Rape Prevention Act of 2025 and the Preventing Violence Against Female Inmates Act of 2025, though both of these bills are likely not headed towards passage.

And at the state level, Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee have all passed laws prohibiting state-funded transition procedures for inmates, and a growing number of states have passed laws requiring housing by biological sex.
