🕌 Nearly half of American Muslims support Hamas. A July Pew Research Center survey found 44 percent of Muslim Americans have a favorable view of Hamas, while only 26 percent view the Israeli people favorably. The poll also revealed shifting attitudes among younger Republicans, who now view Palestinians and Israelis more similarly than older members of their party.

✅ Senate confirms Todd Blanche as attorney general. The Senate voted 50-49 to confirm Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, with Republicans Susan Collins (ME) and Lisa Murkowski (AK) joining Democrats in opposition. Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) cast the deciding vote after initially opposing the nomination.

🇮🇷 Iran issues demands before reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Despite the Trump administration's apparent backing of an Iran-Oman deal, Tehran is piling on conditions, including lifting all sanctions, paying war reparations, withdrawing US military forces from the region, and releasing frozen Iranian assets. The White House has stayed notably quiet on the demands.

🧊 AOC freezes her eggs. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) revealed on Instagram that she started the egg-freezing process, calling herself "badass" and saying she feels "empowered" by the decision “to feel more in control of my life.” The 36-year-old congresswoman also alluded to speculation about a 2028 presidential run.

A: We still don't know who leaked the decision that overturned Roe v Wade. Many believe that it came from a left-leaning justice’s staff to create uproar, but this remains speculation.

The Supreme Court internally interviewed over 100 clerks and staff but never questioned the justices themselves, and it closed in January 2023 with no one identified.

Let’s remember that the leak led to a man showing up armed outside Justice Kavanaugh's house, planning to kill him and his family, along with months of protests targeting justices' homes.

The FBI did reopen the case last year and says it's "making progress," but three years later, still no name, no charges, nothing. Realistically, don't expect real justice on this one.
