Dave Portnoy put Zach Bryan on blast after the country singer allegedly paid a UFC fighter to give him a shoutout in front of his ex-girlfriend, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the Barstools Media founder brought up his “BFFs” co-host’s eventful attendance at David Onama and Roberto Romero’s UFC fight.

“I know I said I’m done talking about that small little pathetic man, Zach Bryan, […] but listen to this story,” Portnoy, 47, said as he recapped the situation, which took place Saturday night.

He went on to explain that LaPaglia, 25, had attended the fight and was forced to listen to Onama shout out Byan, 28, during his celebratory speech.

“I wanna come back here next month to watch Zach Bryan in concert,” Onama told emcee Joe Rogan after defeating Romero in the octagon. “So, I’ll be here for that.”

Portnoy then highlighted that the athlete admitted on Tuesday’s SiriusXM’s “Fight Nation” podcast episode that he is not a fan of Bryan and was simply following his manager’s instructions.

“So, my manager [told me], ‘Zach Bryan is here, and he wants you to give him a shoutout for his show here in New York City,'” Onama, 30, recalled in the episode.

“To be honest, I had no idea who Zach Bryan was. I was like, I don’t know who Zach Bryan is, but I’ll give you a shoutout, I’ll give you some love, and that’s why I gave the shoutout.”

When the show’s hosts asked if it was a “promo” or a “paid advertisement,” he said, “Yup, exactly. That’s literally what it was.”

Portnoy then jumped back in to explain that fans initially thought the shoutout would “suck” for LaPaglia to hear as a viewer, before pointing out, “[Onama] doesn’t even know who the f–k Zach Bryan is!”

“This small little 4-foot-8t f–king psychopath is that pathetic and that lost where they gotta beg UFC guys for a shoutout just to try rub it in Bri’s face?” Portnoy continued. “Like Brianna gives a f–k!”

The Barstool Sports founder went on to say that he’s aware Bryan is “popular” and has a strong fanbase, so he does “not need to f–king bribe people to say [his] name.”

“By the way, it’s embarrassing. You look like the smallest man who ever lived!” Portnoy said in the video. bffspod/Instagram

“We get you’re world famous, but everybody knows you’re a f–king piece of s–t loser and now we know how pathetic and small and f–king low you are,” he continued.

Although LaPaglia talked about her plans to attend the fight on her TikTok and was even featured on camera, Bryan didn’t seem to be at the event.

The “Pink Skies” singer has been making headlines for the last month after announcing via his Instagram Story that he and LaPaglia had broken up after a year of dating.

However, LaPaglia went on to claim that she was “blindsided” by the announcement after they agreed to let her share the news on her own terms.

She later accused Bryan of emotional abuse and of trying to silence her by paying her $12 million.
