Former child actress Daveigh Chase, known for her roles in “The Ring” and “Lilo & Stitch,” has died. She was 35 years old.

Chase passed on Tuesday following a case of meningitis and an infection in her blood, which caused her to suffer septic issues and lead to her body shutting down, according to her boyfriend Roy Hernandez.

TMZ was the first to report this news.

According to the outlet, Chase was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital earlier this month due to malnutrition.

A rep for Chase did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The actress rose to fame at a young age after landing the lead role as Lilo in Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch” film in 2002. She also reprised her role in the franchise’s TV series.
