A plane passenger has shared their irritation after their seatmate's legs encroached on their personal space during a flight - reigniting a heated debate over seating etiquette.
The frequent flyer took to Reddit to share her annoyance at a fellow passenger that got a little too close during a flight.
In the post, the Delta passenger shared a picture from on board where there was an empty space in front of her but people either side.
In the snap, she showed her legs stretched out with her seatmate's leg also spread out in her floor space.
'27F on A321s is my go-to seat - but three of my last six flights, this happened,' she captioned the post. 'Like, why do you think this is ok?'
The irate passenger continued: 'I'll put my feet where they can't do this but will then move my feet and rearrange, then middle seat scoots their feet right back out. Not cool yo.'
Users responded with their opinions on the matter - divided over how to handle the situation.
'It's ALWAYS men in my experience. I always get a window seat, and dudes in the middle love to manspread,' sympathized one user.

They continued: 'I've just had to get used to peoples legs touching me, it's exhausting. I feel like a drama queen when I have to summon a flight attendant multiple times on multiple flights.'
'Wait, that's not your partner?!' one shocked response read.
'Nah you need to tell them to give you space. Be a d**k about this one,' advised another.
Someone else suggested the person next to the Reddit user 'needs to pay for 25 percent' of her ticket for invading her space.
'The obvious thing to do here is cross your leg over theirs and into their space,' wrote another.
Others slammed the woman for not just saying something to the person invading their leg space.
'Good thing you took a picture of it and posted it online rather than being an adult and just, you know, saying something to them,' they wrote sarcastically.
'I would speak up!' exclaimed another. 'Speak directly and look them in the eye and say "excuse me, your foot is in my space."'

'If they don't move their foot use the call button and tell the flight attendant. I don't care if speaking up or getting the flight attendant involved is uncomfortable and awkward, that's your space,' they urged.
'Jeez... just say something!!!' another exasperated user wrote. 'It's so passive aggressive to take a pic and post how wrong it is. Just tell them to move or get a flight attendant today something. They will keep doing it if you never say anything.'
Recently, a Singapore Airlines passenger sparked a heated debate about when it is appropriate to confront someone on board a plane after he was seated next to a 'rude' fellow traveler.
In a post to Reddit on the Singapore Airlines thread, the disgruntled passenger shared a picture of their seatmate with one leg crossed over the other knee.
While that alone is arguably not a reason to complain, it was the man's decision to remove his shoes and socks - leaving his bare feet exposed to fellow passengers.
'Just wondering, if a passenger is rude next to you, like this example here. Can I request to change seats or get him to put on his stupid shoes?' they asked.
'He was like [this] throughout the flight except for meal times at which he kept asking for whiskey and only after confirming that it was a Johnny Walker red label,' the passenger continued.
'Why did I have to put next to this heathen?' they complained.
In a further comment, the irate passenger clarified the man's foot was touching their seat panel.
