Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff has drawn envy and attention for his youthful good looks.
And apparently he's paying for it.
The 39-year-old invests quite a bit of money in his appearance, according to the Washington Free Beacon.
Campaign finance filings reveal that Ossoff, who is up for re-election this year, has several times paid a Hollywood artist for 'makeup services.'
Stephanie Ponder has done makeup work for movies in 'The Hunger Games' franchise as well as other big-name films like 'The Notebook,' 'Remember the Titans,' 'Hillbilly Elegy,' and 'Black Panther,' according to her IMDB page.
Since the end of February, Ossoff has made three payments of at least $900 to Ponder, totaling $2,887.33.
The Senator's makeup expenditures are larger than those of all other candidates for federal office this year, male or female, according to the Free Beacon.
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, for instance, has spent a little bit under $2,000 this year.

Ossoff is running to defend his battleground Georgia Senate seat against Trump-endorsed GOP challenger and Congressman Mike Collins, with polls generally showing Collins trailing.
Rumors of a 2028 presidential run have swirled around Ossoff, with some suggesting his knack for messaging, pointed attacks on Donald Trump, and apparently expensive good looks could serve him well in a national campaign.

Conservative commentator Steve Guest disparaged Ossoff's makeup usage in a Thursday morning X post, referring to the Senator as 'allegedly male.'
Ossoff's campaign did not respond to requests for comment.
