Lower prices and social justice are not in conflict, and Democrats should do a better job of declaring that these goals do reinforce each other, to everyone’s benefit.

Obviously, elections are won by appealing to a broad base. Going too far left or right undermines that. Though President-elect Donald Trump is mostly on the extreme right, he apparently appealed to enough centrist voters with an economic message that denounced inflation (despite his proposed inflation-fostering tariffs) and a law-and-order message that condemned illegal immigration (despite also targeting legal nonwhite immigrants).

Talk about an oxymoron.

I trust someone is keeping a record of all the main stream media claims about what Trump would do if elected. A list of these claims and who made them should be kept. Then the public can decide whether these came true and also evaluate the truth of the main stream media.

Orthodoxy repels all but the most passionate adherents.

Requiring people to believe that only white people can be racist, or that biological males should be on a high school girls’ soccer team, or that Hamas are freedom fighters, are not good ways to win elections.

“Democrats Should Stay ‘Woke’ and not Abandon Progressive Values”
