Raptors got slapped with the poison Ivey!
The Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons squared off Monday night at the latter’s Little Caesars Arena, with the Pistons picking up an intense 102-100 victory to bring them to 8-11 on the season. And a large reason for Detroit’s win was their point guard Jaden Ivey, who was absolutely incredible all throughout! Ivey was near perfect when it came to shooting, hitting 10 of his 13 shots and going 2-4 from the three-point line to rack up 25 points. On top of that, he also added eight assists, five rebounds and a steal on the stat sheet. He was an outright star against Toronto, and it lasted to the very last second — literally.
With eight seconds left on the clock, Ivey dribbled the ball around the court to get a good look into the lane, and while not getting completely in there, he managed to get deep enough where he could put up a solid shot for the chance at a buzzer beater victory. And in March Madness-like fashion, that’s exactly what happened.

Lord have mercy! Jaden Ivey completely ripped the heart out of the Raptors’ chest and smashed it into a bunch of little pieces! Cold-blooded as hell!

Some people like to say that the NBA is “too professional” for the bananas stuff, but don’t sleep on the league, these moments pop up from time to time.
