Did Hollywood Kill Hayden Panettiere?

Hayden Panettiere exposed the disturbing realities lurking behind Hollywood’s glamorous facade shortly before her untimely death at age 36.

The Greenville County Coroner’s office told Page Six she was found unresponsive in an apartment after “a 911 call was received regarding a reported cardiac arrest.”

EMS personnel provided advanced cardiac life support measures but were unable to revive the child star.

Panettiere’s death comes just 3 months after the release of her memoir, “This Is Me A Reckoning,” in which she revealed the pressures of Hollywood and the industry’s dark side.

Panettiere reflected on a traumatic moment during the May 11 episode of Jay Shetty’s podcast, “On Purpose with Jay Shetty,” and referenced a chapter from her memoir.

She recalled being on a boat when a trusted female friend led her to a room where an older man was waiting. The friend placed her on the bed next to the undressed man.

“I was led by somebody that I had grown to trust and see as a protector and somebody who had my back,” she shared during the interview.

“She physically put me in the bed next to this undressed man who was very famous,” Panettiere said, adding that he appeared to behave “like this was just an average day for him.”

This wasn’t the star’s first admission of trouble in Hollywood.

Panettiere told People in 2022 that she was offered “happy pills” before attending red carpets when she was 15.

Her May interview with The Hollywood Reporter included her admission that she was “groomed” by Hollywood and an open dialogue about her fear surrounding the repercussions she may face when her story came out.

“One of the things that I was most terrified about, when deciding whether or not to write this book, was that I knew what was going to come along with it,” she said of promoting the memoir.

“I had to sit with myself and make a decision, and I realized it was more important for me to share my stories and to wipe the slate clean.”

The famous actress continued, “I was groomed. I was like a little soldier and I always have been. No was never an option. It was just, here are your scenes, here’s your dialogue, memorize it, hit the marks, do what your director tells you to do.”

“I took my marching orders.”

Three months later, she was found dead.

No visible signs of trauma were discovered at the time of her death. 911 dispatch audio suggested an apparent “overdose,” and TMZ reported that Narcan, used to reverse the effects of an overdose, was found at the scene.
