Discord Nitro users will get early access to Modern Warfare 4 Beta: Report

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 is rapidly approaching, but that doesn’t mean you need to wait until October to play, as its beta is coming very soon – or even sooner if you have Discord Nitro.

Despite one releasing every year, the hype for Modern Warfare 4 is immense, with many looking forward to the new campaign, seeing beloved characters again, trying the new weapons, and finally diving into DMZ again.

Well, luckily we don’t have to wait until its full release date, as there’s a beta coming up on August 28. However, a select few players will get the chance to play it in early access on August 21 – 25, and that could reportedly extend to Discord Nitro subscribers.

Discord Nitro users reportedly getting MW4 early access beta codes

According to renowned Discord leaker Wumpus Central on X, “Discord Nitro subscribers will get Early Access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Beta” with each Nitro user receiving a closed beta redeem code and an “exclusive weapon blueprint on game launch.”

Should the leak prove correct, this is a huge bonus to the subscription, especially given the fact that it’s so restricted. Outside of the potential Nitro access, only Xbox, PS5, and PC players can get into the early access, and even then they need to preorder the game.

Unlike previous releases, even those with Xbox Game Pass won’t get early access to the beta, meaning the only way to play early without buying the game before release could be through Discord Nitro.

Of course, this is purely a leak, and nothing has been officially announced by Discord or Infinity Ward yet. But if it proves accurate, it’ll likely be a hugely popular way to test out the game, especially given that Discord Nitro costs $9.99 per month for the full tier, and $2.99 per month for the Nitro Basic tier.

There’s been no word on whether the Nitro Basic Tier will qualify for the early access codes.
