Disgraced ex-City Councilman Dan Halloran — who was booted from office after taking part in a $200,000 bribery scheme to rig the 2013 mayoral election — was found with hundreds of child sexual abuse videos on his phone as he arrived back in the US on a flight from Cuba, according to a report.
Halloran, 54, was found with 1,362 videos of child sexual abuse material hidden on his iPhone as he was stopped at Miami International Airport for a layover flight on Saturday, Local 10 News reported.
Halloran, who served on City Council from 2010 to 2013, was pulled aside by US Customs and Border Protection officers for a device inspection after he got off a flight from Camagüey, Cuba, according to a federal criminal complaint obtained by the outlet.

Authorities discovered about 35 videos featuring “prepubescent” girls being victimized, according to the outlet.
Halloran, who now works as a dive instructor while living in the Long Island suburb of Floral Park, admitted to “knowingly” having child sexual abuse videos on his cellphone, according to the complaint.
The ex-politician told authorities “two-thirds to three-quarters” of the 1,362 videos in a hidden album depicted child sexual abuse, according to the complaint.
Holloran was buying the criminal content on the messaging app Telegram, the complaint said.
He was booked into the Broward County Main Jail but was in custody at the Federal Detention Center in Miami as of Tuesday morning on two federal child pornography charges.
