A Disney-themed card game has led to mass hysteria across the globe... as hordes fans lined up in the middle of the night, mobbed the stores and theme parks and even erupted in fights.
Disney Lorcana - an official trading card game created by Ravensburger in collaboration with Disney - dropped two new packs, entitled the Lorcana Curator’s Collection: Heroines Edition and the Disney Lorcana Attack of the Vine, on Friday.
In the wake of the release, thousands of dedicated fans descended upon Disney stores around the globe, as well as Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and Disneyland Paris in France to try to get their hands on the new Disney Lorcana card sets.
Unsuspecting families trying to enjoy the wonders of Disney World and Disneyland were met with a shocking surprise as hordes of guests mobbed the theme parks over the latest merchandise drop.
An unprecedented amount of people showed up, leading to chaos, fights and an array of disappointed fans who waited hours and weren't able to get any cards.
Horrified guests took to social media to share footage of the mayhem, showing immense crowds and endless lines.
One person raged: 'This is absolutely chaotic. This is nuts. People are fighting with security. People are already succumbing to the heat.'
They accompanied the post with a video that showed guests frantically running through the streets outside of Disney Springs - the massive outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment complexes at Walt Disney World - as police tried to get the crowd under control.

'This was an absolute nightmare and a horrible experience for your actual players,' slammed someone else.
'This was not a success. This was an unorganized disaster from @DisneyParks.'
'I’ve seen some massive lines at Disneyland but nothing that stretched this far before,' shared another X user alongside a video of the lengthy queue at Disneyland. 'Good luck to all the Lorcana fans this morning!'
'Disney Springs is a total disaster for Lorcana’s drop this AM. We got police directing blocked traffic, people going the wrong way on the street, this is a total mess,' read another post.
'Disney needs to get it together. This wasn’t organized at all,' someone else wrote of their experience.
One fan revealed that they had gotten to Disney World at 6:45am and there was already 'a few hundred cars backed up' at the parking garage.
Another said they got there at 6:30am and 'waited over four hours' on line just to walk away empty handed, while slamming 'scalpers' who scooped up all the products.
'Please stop doing such exclusive merch sets and incentivizing scalpers,' they begged, tagging Disney.

Walt Disney World News Today reported that guests began queuing at Disney World as early as Thursday evening for the cards.
Another user posted a video of people swarming a store at Disneyland Paris and even jumping over barricades to get ahead of other people.
At the Disney Store in London, Disney blog Inside the Magic reported 'unmanageable crowds, aggressive behavior and a massive police presence' resulting in the store canceling the release altogether.
Police were called to the store as collectors claimed gangs of 'scalpers' - slang for non-fans trying to profit from rare items - tried to storm the Disney Store after jumping the queue.
'The safety of our guests, cast members and the local community is always our top priority,' the Disney Store UK said in a statement posted to Instagram.
'Following disruption outside our Oxford Street store overnight, we worked with local authorities to make the decision to open later than usual today.
'We also want to let our fans know that the planned in-store release of the Disney Lorcana Curator’s Collection: Heroines Edition will no longer take place today.
'We understand how disappointing this will be for those who were looking forward to the release and we sincerely apologize to everyone affected. Thank you for your understanding.'
