Oogie Boogie, Lilo from “Lilo & Stitch”, Hannah Montana and Lizzie Maguire are all headed to “Disney Dreamlight Valley.”
The Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire collection arrives in the cozy life-sim game Aug. 19. A brand-new Premium Shop collection inspired by Hannah Montana and Lizzie McGuire launches next week, giving players the chance style their Avatars in a few superstar-inspired outfits.
“Disney Dreamlight Valley” community manager Courtney Shannon-Caines was joined by game director, Joshua Labelle, lead narrative designer, Riley Wignall, and Disney and Pixar games team producer Alexis McMullen to announce the news at D23 Friday.
The panel also showcased an exclusive first look at “Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea.” The game’s fourth expansion is coming this October, and a teaser trailer offered a preview of the exciting adventure awaiting players.
Oogie Boogie from Disney “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” will make his debut in September as part of a brand-new Halloween event. In the lead-up to Halloween, players can also look forward to weekly quests, themed rewards, and seasonal festivities.
In December, the final free update of the year will welcome Lilo from Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch,” allowing players to finally experience her long-awaited reunion with Stitch.
The news comes after the popular life simulation game released the “Honeyglow Woods” adventure pack. “Honeyglow Woods” features enchanting new places inspired by the world of Winnie the Pooh, each filled with its own atmosphere, secrets, and stories for players to uncover. Among the adventures, are hide-and-seek with Pooh, help Eeyore search for his missing tail, and encourage Piglet to find courage.
“Pixel Perfect” was another expansion added to the platform intergrating both Disney and Pixar stories into the game. Ralph from Disney’s “Wreck-It Ralph” was added to the Valley just last month.
