Shoppers are racing to Dollar Tree to purchase a low-cost party essential just in time for New Year's Eve.
The discount chain is offering its customers festive balloons that are available to purchase for $1.50 each.
The 18-inch star-shaped foil balloons come in more than 10 colors, including gold, silver, and red.
Besides parties, the star-shaped balloons could be used in flower arrangements or to celebrate other holidays, according to the company website.
The product is also expected to hold helium longer than latex balloons and not pop easily because of its foil material.
All of the foiled balloons come uninflated, but Dollar Tree employees can inflate the products whether a shopper purchased them online or in-store.
The store also noted in its star-shaped balloon product descriptions that customers should speak with a store manager to schedule the inflation due to a location's helium supplies.
Shoppers may also be required to present a copy of their purchase receipt to a Dollar Tree employee.

Dollar Tree online shoppers looking to purchase the product can choose between 11 colors on the company's website.
Buyers have praised all 11 star-shape balloon listings online, but the star-shaped fuchsia-colored balloon is the only one with a five-star rating.
'The color was gorgeous and it looked really pretty when it was inflated. Ordered the box online and the store inflated my entire box for me,' a shopper wrote about the red star-shaped balloon.
'It was a steal when you are on a budget, you save more than going to a party store. The quality is equal to paying more somewhere else!.'
'I always use this product for different celebrations because it comes in a variety of colors and they last longer than latex balloons. This product is a GREAT value for a GREAT price,' a shopper wrote about the star-shaped balloon in purple.
Multiple reviewers also praised Dollar Tree employees for their help with inflating all the foil balloons ordered online.
The quantities of star-shaped balloons shoppers claimed they bought in the reviews range from five to 150.

The discount chain also had multiple dupes available before Thanksgiving.
Customers spotted $1.25 Christmas stockings at Dollar Tree that were identical to a $29.59 stocking from Pottery Barn.
However, one thing social media users raved over in the US and Canada was skincare and makeup dupes that resembled products from Sephora.
A few TikTok users praised the beauty dupes from Dollar Tree and were impressed to find $1.25 products resembled Sephora items worth between $26 and $60.
Other notable dupes spotted at Dollar Tree include a $1.25 pumpkin-themed placemat $3 holiday garland, and a $6.99 'poinsettia and berry' decoration.

Its chief financial officer, Jeff Davis, added that the $7 limit will 'drive higher gross profit per transaction.'
