Kimberly Guilfoyle was a guest at the presidential inauguration - but it’s Bettina Anderson who will be floating in the arms of Donald Trump Jr. last night.
Despite her recent split with his son, President Trump’s pick for ambassador to Greece squeezed into the indoor swearing-in ceremony on Monday morning, seated towards the back of the audience rather than with the returning First Family.
Securing a place in the Capitol Rotunda in Washington DC was no small feat.
In what was wrongly reported as a potential last-minute snub, Don Jr.’s new love, 38, gave up the chance to witness the ceremony in person, to make room for the likes of tech movers and shakers Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Google’s Sundar Pichai and Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg.
One source told DailyMail.com that even some eight-figure donors had to be left out of the event.
Guilfoyle defied rumors she too would be excluded, appearing on the left in the second section of seating about five rows back, in an off-white suit and white blouse fitted by Cuban designer Oscar Lopez.
Don Jr. had pride of place in a group next to his father, alongside his siblings and their respective partners, including Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, Eric Trump and his wife, Lara Trump, Tiffany Trump, and her husband, Michael Buolos, and Barron Trump.
Seating was limited due to the ceremony being moved inside for the first time since 1985, after dangerously low temperatures of between 25 and 28 degrees were forecast in DC.

On Monday morning the Daily Beast pointed out that Anderson’s designer, Katherine Lugo, had posted a picture of Anderson in her ‘Inauguration Glam’ outfit, a black and white houndstooth Dolce and Gabbana suit with black leather gloves and red leather bag.
The chic getup suggests that Anderson was expecting to attend the exclusive event at the Capitol. But news footage of the crowd showed no sign of her or her checkered ensemble within the coveted main Rotunda seating.
However, Bettina did appear at the Presidential Parade later in the afternoon, in the blue starry-fronted tiered seating behind President Trump in full view of TV cameras.
And a source close to the family assured DailyMail.com that she is ‘adored’ by the Trumps, and there was no intended slight in Anderson failing to secure a seat in the Rotunda, which were in high demand.
In the days leading up to the inauguration, Don Jr., 47, crossed paths with Guilfoyle, as well as his other ex, Vanessa Trump, on numerous occasions, as both of them were spotted at various parties, dinners, and events to celebrate his father.
In addition to being at the inauguration, Vanessa was photographed arriving with her daughter Chloe Trump at Donald's wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on Sunday.
Kimberly attended the Republican-centric Hispanic Inaugural Ball the night before, standing next to her former beau.
She also attended a candlelight dinner for Donald at the National Building Museum on Sunday evening.

She and Don Jr. are said to have a ‘cordial relationship’, with no drama reported at any of the gatherings.
Bettina has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that they were dating last summer.
Sources previously told DailyMail.com that Bettina isn't 'MAGA enough' and her notorious party girl reputation in Palm Beach doesn't mesh well with the first family's A-list Mar-A-Lago clientele.
But she has been by Don Jr.'s side for much of this weekend, and Trump family insiders are trying to get the message out that they welcome the First Son’s new partner.
In addition to the National Building Museum dinner, Bettina also appeared in a Trump family photo as they gathered for a fireworks display at Trump National Golf Club ahead of Monday's swearing-in ceremony.
Don Jr. and Kimberly, 55, started dating in 2018 and got engaged in December 2020.
But in 2024, it was revealed that they had called off their engagement and went their separate ways.
Before that, he was married to Vanessa, 47, from 2005 until 2018.
They welcomed five kids together during their marriage: Kai Trump, Donald Trump III, Tristan Trump, Chloe, and Spencer Trump.
