President Donald Trump has said he is “happy” that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have left the US for the UK, declaring he is “not a fan”.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle landed at Birmingham Airport last week, following six years living in California, and are thought to have settled in the Cotswolds.
When asked about the Sussexes deciding to return to the UK, the President of the United States said: “I'm happy about it.
“I was not a fan. I didn't like the way she acted.
“I thought she was terribly disrespectful to the Queen. I would not have taken them back.”
The United States President and the Sussexes have famously had a fraught history.
