Donald Trump gloats about 'TALENT' on the golf course after winning another title at his New Jersey club

United States President Donald Trump eagerly shared footage from his latest golfing triumph after winning the club and senior club championships at his course in New Jersey on Sunday.

'The Winning Shot in the Bedminster Club Championship!' Trump wrote on social media alongside video of him lifting his ball to within a few feet of the pin. 'Thank you very much to all of those who participated.'

The 80-year-old carded a score of 70 on Sunday, and while that can't compete with the 34 Kim Jong-Il claimed in 1994, Trump was every bit as modest as the late North Korean dictator after the victory.

'I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I'm given very little time to practice, because I'm focused on many other things,' he wrote. 'It's called TALENT, and I have it, and they don't!'

Trump's course in Bedminster was supposed to host the 2022 PGA Championship, but the tour pulled the event after the January 6 United States Capitol attack.

Instead of the PGA, the Bedminster course welcomed the upstart LIV Golf Tour for several events in recent years. However, it's unclear if the LIV Tour will continue to pay for use of Trump's courses now that the organization has been stripped of its funding by Saudi Arabia.

Par at Bedminster is set at 72, meaning Trump finished two strokes under par to secure the double victory. The reported 70 comes a year after the White House published a scorecard claiming Trump carded a 3-under 69 at the same annual tournament in 2025. Officially, he won that tournament by ten strokes.

Trump was seen visiting troops during his trip to New Jersey, though observers noted he was still wearing his golf glove while greeting military personnel.

'With his golf glove on. How disrespectful,' one X user wrote in response to a video.

Another added, 'He wears his golf shoes and driving glove wherever he goes, I'm guessing....???'

The avid golfer has consistently touted his prowess on the course, declaring: 'I've played a lot, and I've played well. There are very few people who can beat me in golf.'

However, his remarkable track record and reported scores have frequently drawn skepticism from critics and sports journalists over the years.

Sportswriter Rick Reilly, who authored a book on Trump's golf habits, has previously questioned the legitimacy of his club championship wins, once stating: 'When it comes to cheating, he's an 11 on a scale of one to 10.'

Trump's outing on the course comes shortly after he called off strikes on Iran. The Commander in Chief said Saturday on Truth Social that although he remains 'locked and loaded' to launch an attack, he halted the strikes in hopes of reaching a peace deal.

The announcement came after reports claimed Trump was talked down by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over concerns that further strikes could dramatically escalate the conflict in the Middle East.

Sources told Axios that the Crown Prince urged Trump to defuse the situation, following days of tit-for-tat threats between the White House and Tehran.

In Trump's Truth Social post on Saturday night, he threatened to unleash 'power not seen since World War II,' but said he agreed to tentatively pause the attack.
